The Towson High School Counseling Department has the unique position to observe and support the whole person. Counselors provide support to students in the academic, social/emotional, and college/career realms. Counselors align and work with the school’s mission to support the success of all students as they prepare for the ever-changing world of the 21st century.

The School Counseling program at Towson High School exists to create a safe, welcoming, and culturally competent environment where all students are held to high standards and encouraged to grow. We ensure this through the implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program focused on the academic, social/emotional and college/career domains. Through the use of equity, collaboration, and high expectations, our students will gain the skills necessary to be globally competitive life-long learners.
